Makenna is a rockstar eater and sleeper (we call her Sleeping Beauty due to her black hair and love of sleep...already giving us 5.5 hour stretches at night which has allowed us to stay well rested somehow) which makes all the difference in the early days and Kellan has been super sweet and gentle (at least attempting to be) with his baby sister. It is very sweet to see. Kellan asks about the baby all the time, likes to visit her, push her in her swing, hold her hand and kiss her toes. Kellan has also been VERY ATTACHED to daddy which has been super cute to watch...who wouldn't be after getting a week at home with him...what a treat for all of us!
Of course the silent real game changer has been BB and all the help she's been in every way from cooking to cleaning to holding to entertaining to rocking to coffee runs. Something tells me things will be a little more challenging around here once she's gone :( BB don't leave us!!!
Ohh and to be fair BB's ipad deserves a shout out too - here here to Boom-a (aka angry birds) & dick (aka cupcake drawing game)!!
