What A Great Memorial Day Weekend
First of all HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DAN!
Cheers to 6 amazing years of marriage and 11.5 in our love story!
To celebrate we went on a date Saturday night and hosted a backyard bbq shindig with a few friends and cute kiddos on Sunday!
Today we went on a hike along Ocean Beach & now the boys are resting on the couch as I make Kellan's baby food. So far today I've made him peas, carrots, peaches, zucchini & apples! Yum Yum little bug!

Our Littlest Lion
You are probably saying to yourself, "how cute is Kellan in his lion hoodie towel" luckily we are too but what got him into the bath and thus into the towel tonight...ummmm.....not so cute!

Kellan's 6 Month Ped Appt
We had Kellan's 6 month ped appointment today and our little guy did very well. He literally fed himself his oral shot much to the amusement of the nurse and didn't even flinch after his first icky shot to the thigh. Very brave!! Turns out he's perfectly proportioned but on the smaller side at the moment clocking in at the 20th percentile for height (25.5") and weight (15lb 3oz). Doctor's orders are to up the menu to 3 meals of babyfood a day so we assume he'll fly up that growth chart in no time at all!

Saturday Turned Into An Adventure
We woke up and had a lovely morning hanging out at home with bug
Then decided to walk to the ferry building & stop along the way at Pier 39 to welcome home the sea lions who just returned to the Bay!
After such a long walk (6 miles), yummy food & lots of excitement, my boys crashed and took an afternoon nap!
The boys woke up and we decided to keep the good times rolling and head out to dinner...so off we went to Perry's and enjoyed a delicious dinner together. Kellan was an absolute angel, as usual, and just sat there bright eyed and smiley without a peep sooo much so that Dan and I looked at each other and said...WOW he makes this so easy....he is such an angel baby......AND THEN things took a drastic turn......Kellan sat on my lap, blew out his pants which landed all over my jeans, the table cloth, my napkin, etc.....It was UNREAL!!! We scooped him up, wrapped him in a blanket & busted home as fast as we could....upon arrival holding him at arms length he puked...all over himself..clearly the only thing left to do was dump him immediately into the bath upon which he peed fountain style into the water....I MEAN EPIC PERFORMANCE from the little man!!!!
Kellan is now fast asleep cozy in his bed, the laundry is running and Dan and I are enjoying a much needed and i think deserved night cap :) What a ride!
