PoochiePrints Did It AGAIN

When it came to creating our "new address" cards we ofcourse went straight to PoochiePrints, as we do for all paper projects, birth announcements, christmas cards, birthday invitations, etc and they blew us out of the water.  

Stacey did a hand sketch of our new house for an extra custom, personal point of view.

Runaway Puddle Jumper

Makenna's comprehension has been almost complete for a long while now but her speech is starting to catch up which is always fun to watch and hear!

I DOOOOOOOOO!!!! is one of her fave enthusiastic responses at the moment! 

Lincoln Park Zoo

We decided to take advantage of our last days outside and hit the Lincoln Park Zoo with the Baby's.  What a show these animals put on despite the chilly temps.  

This was a friendly and seemingly hungry black bear!

Inside the Ape House i asked Kellan to look as mad as the Gorilla and this was his attempt.  So funny!

 Lil Sully was OBSESSED with the Gorillas and i have to say i was too!

 The captive audience - all 4 munchkins - 2 sets of twins according to RJ Grunts!

HI TURTLE!!! Makenna's speech has really taken off and it's SO CUTE to hear that little voice!

Lions and Tigers and Black Bears UP CLOSE - Ohh MY!

Sea Otters - what M you're kind of scared of this cute little playful guy but not the big black bear?! Apparently we need to sit down and review some safety rules :)

I've Changed....Suburbssssssssssss

Ok fine so I didn't got to Lowes and Home Depot seeking entertainment, really it was for front planter urns so we can deck the halls for Christmas, but we did end up walking into a delightful winter wonderland. The kids were obsessed with the trees, lights, ornaments, toys, etc.

 And I was obsessed with this double car cart deal which kept 2 kids contained and happy - hallelujah!

Total bill $10 - score one for mommy only one little sing-a-long Christmas carole Mickey snow globe!

Another Visit To Wagner Farms

We paid another visit to Wagner Farms with the Damon's and McCaffrey's and had a blast!  The only hitch was it was a little chilly so after visiting the animals and running the fields we found shelter inside the barn and played on this weird looking black key board thing (that is not a touch screen), sorted chicken eggs, milked cows, ran our own farmer's market out of the wagon etc.  What fun and lots of good learning!

Happy First Halloween In The YELLOW HOUSE

Our first Halloween was a HIT in the yellow house.  We actually got tons of trick or treaters and had a blast being out and about on a festive fun costume packed suburban street/neighborhood!

Have I bragged enough about my sisters natural mothering abilities?  She is literally AMAZING with children and generously came over and watched all 5 kiddos the other day while Dan was out of town. Here they are all 5 Wood grandkids in their glory cozy on the couch with Miss Mary Poppins!

Makenna's new move at the dinner table is to stick forks into her belly repeatedly...otherwise known as stabbing yourself...is my cooking that bad these days or is my company that painful?! THAD :)
