Packing reached a high point today with help from my little buddy!

Auntie Candace Visits

Auntie Candace visits and is a natural with the kiddos.  She had a sleepover with Kellan last night and he asked her to sleep in his tent.  Lucky Candy got away with reading in place of sleeping in the tent!

 The 2 Cali girls enjoying a lovely gorgeous leisurely day/lunch in Sausalito...love you lady & miss your sense of humor and stories already!

Makenna the mountain climber

The lady is a CLIMBER she's up a ladder half the time or her newest trick is to climb into her stroller and stare at you until you get the hint that she wants OUT...a mover and shaker this one!

So Lady Like

Makenna is so rough and tumble because of her brother in most ways but she's started 3 hilarious ladylike-ism's
1) She LOVES to wash her hands and runs off at Peekadoodle and stands on the stool in front of the sink and simulates washing her hands until someone will turn the water on and let her do it - it's hilarious folks
2) She wipes her mouth clean after every meal.  This isn't a very good video of it but you'll get the idea.

3) She insists upon feeding herself these days and isn't half bad with a spoon - go Miss Pea!

House Of Air

Kellan has LOTS OF ENERGY especially since summer school is over.  My new favorite outlet? The whole room of trampolines and bouncy houses at THE HOUSE OF AIR!! How do i build this into my new basement?! Think Dan will go for it?

Our Carneros Home

We took our last family trip to as Kellan calls it "our Carneros home" aka our favorite resort in wine country.

We have so many fond memories of our time together here with and without the kiddos!

The last time Miss Pea was here she was crawling so she really enjoyed this visit exploring the grounds and holding court as the most popular kid at the pool surrounded by 8 and 10 year old girls at all moments.

Kellan's Last Day At Peekadoodle

A graduation of sorts....from his first ever school.  We're so proud of you Kellan! You are doing such a great job and you make us very proud....most of the time that is - ha!

And flash back to the first day of school....you're growing up so fast!!!

 Back to the last day again - he can't believe it!!!! 

 And a chocolate ice cream cone in ghiradelli square to celebrate it all? 

 Pretty special times.  It's safe to say I am starting to get a little nostalgic already of our time and milestones that we've reached while living in SF.

America's Cup In SF Bay

The America's Cup tour has descended upon the San Francisco Bay so of course we had to check it out! 

 The Oracle catamaran has become part of the city's skyline so it was GREAT for the US to get a win today....

 Although who wouldn't vote for the Italian Prada boat? So chic!

 And who makes it first to the finish line....

Off The Grid

Kellan is a smart cosmo kid who LOVES food trucks...which is what brought us to OFF THE GRID for dinner friday night.

 Who could blame us with as diverse the food selection that SF food trucks offer.  check it out!

Korean, Chinese, Mexican, Indian, Ramen, Corn, Creme Brulee, Cupcakes, Pork Buns, Pot stickers, Tacos, Empanadas, and the list goes on and on.  Ohh and of course really tasty microbrew IPA's for mom and dad!

Kathryn and I DID IT AGAIN, as they say, revisiting the Carneros Inn for a blissful 48 hours of fun,  friendship, cocktails, wine tasting and unintended dieting!!

The 2 city gals totally look right at home on the tractor right?!

My Hiccups Fell Out

HILARIOUS comment of the day....for all those that know Kellan he ALWAYS gets the hiccups from laughing too hard and today he got a doozie of a case and ended up throwing up a few pancake bites from breakfast during a hiccup and he turned to me and said "Mommy, my hiccups fell out!" Still laughing about that one!

Crooked Lombard Street

We also knocked taking the kids down crooked Lombard street, the curviest street in the world today! 

Kellan thought it was pretty cool and enjoyed the view of other SF landmarks.

Drum Roll Please...We've FINALLY Hit...

THE CABLE CAR!!!

Our family took our first trip on the famous SF cable car today - all the way from Ghiradelli Square to the end of the line in Union Square.  We had so much fun and both kids loved it!

Have to start knocking down our bucket list as our time here starts to dwindle.

Sibling Games

It's so fun to have two toddlers, well sometimes that is - ha!

Here are Kellan & Makenna playing soccer together at Sport's Basement. M has a very natural athletic dribble and apparently K wanted to steal the spotlight with a stealth steal.  Happy go lucky M is all that's the best you got? Watch this...i'll stay calm, carry on and kick a water bottle :) That's my girl!

And Miss Rough and Tumble always gets back on her feet no matter what her big bro serves her way....this trait will serve her well in life :) 

Kellan is loving being the bigger stronger more dominate sib these days, pretty funny!

Kellan and Makenna's New School This Fall - ATBB

Kellan's NEW SCHOOL this fall will be "All Things Bright And Beautiful"... you know like the church hymn...anyways to prepare the lil guy for the transition I've sang the song with him a few times and unbelievably he remembered all the words and started singing it the other night with his guitar.  Sorry i missed a few verses but here ya go:

Another Worm Has Emerged

Makenna has turned into WORM and takes every opportunity to read books by herself or with mommy and daddy.  

 The cutest is that she wakes up in the morning and from naps just standing in her crib pointing at her book shelf asking for you to take her out and snuggle up with a good read.  So cute :) 

A few of her favorite books at the moment are: Ten Little Fish, First Words, Baby Galileo Sees Stars and the foam color/counting books from Auntie Lauren!!

What a cute idea by the school and partnership between the 2 businesses.

Kellan picked out a San Francisco cable trolley car!!! & I threw in a chocolate Olympics cupcake to make the accomplishment really special!
