Like a baptism for me - one last final dip in the crystal clear blue waters of Lake Tahoe!
The photo doesn't lie...i was the only one in the water that windy but warm final day in mountain paradise.
of course Kellan longingly gazing at his beloved GONDOLA or as grammy calls it Gonzola
For those of you that have made the pilgramage before you will recognize this scene...you turn the corner after a long drive from SF and THIS is your first glimpse of Lake Tahoe Blue! We've made it....arrived with only one throw up casualty (not naming names KELLAN)
Launching up the mountain in the gondola
Photo OPP at the middle viewing observation deck.... interestingly this is the first time we've ever dared to stop here as we're more accustom to high winds and snow in the middle of winter
Sadly Dan was not able to join us on our mountain adventure that day because of....urg...work. what a dedicated guy...i'm pretty sure i would have found a way to slip out at least for a quick trip up the mountain.
Family photo at the water's edge
Deep thoughts and sudden reservations...is this really a smart move to leave this place? this natural, rejuvenating, good for the soul fresh air, natural wonder?!
Take us up to Room 3665 please
Brave little Kenna dipped her toes in the water with the very friendly and hungry, i might add, duckies.
What a view!!! I vow to take you back when you can remember and further experience this beautiful place.
Mommy and Kellan got some rare one on one time, thanks to Grammy and Pap Pap watching Mak. We went on a little hike on the top of the mountain and it was GLORIOUS! I look forward to many more of these together with you, my favorite little buddy!
We won't mention the fact that you did get a little tired after awhile and i had to bait you with M&M's to finish!
Ahhh.......Keep Tahoe BLUE!!!
Kids enjoying and appreciating the view
All SMILES!!! THANK YOU GRAMMY & PAP PAP - WE LOVE YOU!!!
CHEERS TO TAHOE!
