Summertime

FINALLY it felt like SUMMERTIME because we were HOT HOT HOT in Chicago! 

The kids, infact, didn't know what to make of the heat and humidity.  Although oppresive at times, it felt kind of good to me after 8 years of never feeling hot in San Francisco's temperate climate.

Here we are at the Wiese/Burke 4th of July party in Winnetka watching the adorable festive parade go by!

 Ahhh...deep breaths were had in Siesta Key as Dan and I snuck away for a few days as BB & Papa so sweetly watched the little ones
