Kathryn & my foodie girl's trip to Portland was HEAVENLY!
Ace Hotel
And let the never-ending progressive meal begin
Bijou Cafe for a delic brunch..poor Kathryn hangin' in there rallying from food poisoning the night before in Seattle - urg :(
Clyde Common for cocktails, mocktails and a delicious dinner
Fideos, scallops, sausage, squid ink vinaigrette was our fave! Two tarts had the sweetest little treats
The one, the only STUMPTOWN coffee
I love you a latte :)
Wouldn't be Portland without rain but it didn't cramp our style or rain on our parade
We walked and walked and walked, over the Broadway bridge thru the woods, to grandmothers house and the Historic Mississipi District we go!
Oops...the tracks were crossed
FINALLY...after over 2 miles and lots of hours of walking...we arrived
First stop - The Meadow - to marvel
in artisan salt, the world’s great chocolate bars, bitters and other gourmet items for the bar and kitchen!salt, salt and more salt from all over the world
Bitters and such to build your very own mixologist bar
Beautiful bouquets
Food cart - closed for the season
Luckily Gravy was still open and BEYOND generous with their portions - WOW...we had a lot of wood to chop!
Dinner at the bar, my favorite, at Little Bird!
Cheese plate (Herbs de Humbolt - best ever goat cheese) followed by the most delectable bistro burger & fries
After dinner drinks? But of course! Off to the secret speakeasy next to Valentine's hidden behind the creperie
Cheers! Gingerbeer how i love you :)
Photobooth fun with Kathryn & Miguel
Last day began with VooDoo doughnuts and continued onto eggs benedict at Mother's
Terrariums are EVERYWHERE & Kathryn is feelin' it!
Walk along the river
The food cart capital of the country. A little taste of everything - YUM!!!
Mt Hood even came out for the first time at the airport to bid us adieu...Bye Portland. How we love thee!
