Daddy The Step Stool

When Kellan is playing on the computer he likes to get as close to the keyboard as possible...this usually means the use of a convenient step stool AKA daddy's feet. So cute!

Electric Toothbrush

Kellan LOVES brushing his teeth and was so curious with our electric toothbrushes that we got him one too. He thinks it's the best!
Starting good habits early on :)

Hello Old Friend

For whatever reason, I guess traveling and busy schedules we haven't made it to our beloved Ferry Building farmer's market for many weeks until TODAY!!! Here's a picture of Kellan bobbin' his head to the steel drum band.
And jammin' to the jam bands in the back of the market. This kid LOVES music :)

6 Month Belly Shot

La Petite Nit update: in spandies she's easy to spot, in regular clothes she can still go incognito! I can't quite believe I'm already 6 months along...time sure is flying running after an adorable toddler all day long :) May will be here before we know it, considering it's practically February already!

Deja Vu

This is becoming a farmiliar sight. Kellan exploring the pantry and helping himself to snacks. I'm thinking we either need to babyproof or move to a house with higher cupboards :)

January? Really?

Not to rub it in for those living outside of the great state of CA but the weather has been INSANE the last 2 weeks in the high 60's and low 70's. We are LOVING it!!
Nautical Kellan driving the boat to prep for his stewardship on PapPap's boat :)

'Pasghetti

Apparently Kellan was in the mood for 'pasghetti for dinner tonight so he dumped the entire package out ALL OVER THE FLOOR along with the rest of the cupboard!
Toddler exploration and experimentation really is hilarious!

Music Class

Kellan LOVES his music teacher and the guitar!
Musical instrument prop time jam session is another fave part of class when Kellan gets to use the triangle, the tambo, the drums, the bells, the symbols and more.
Onto parachute prop time
This is FUN isn't it Charlie..throw 'em up high and let 'em fly
Yahooo!!! Twirl the pocket squares round and round and sing "The Wheels On The Bus!"

Don't Mind If I Do

Kellan helped himself to the fridge to drown his sorrows from the big loss yesterday.

Big Day Of Football

A little nervous for Bears-Packers...time to put your gameface on Kellan.
There you go - let's practice GO BEARS, TOUCHDOWN!!
Screaming and fuming mad after a humiliating loss to the stupid Packers. At least we can say "you still live there"... pathetic cheeseheads.
Time to recover and root on daddy's team - GO STEELERS!

And a HUGE WIN for the black and gold! To Dallas and the Superbowl they go! Kellan is psyched!

WE LOVE PDX

Kathryn & my foodie girl's trip to Portland was HEAVENLY!
Ace Hotel
And let the never-ending progressive meal begin
Bijou Cafe for a delic brunch..poor Kathryn hangin' in there rallying from food poisoning the night before in Seattle - urg :(
Clyde Common for cocktails, mocktails and a delicious dinner
Fideos, scallops, sausage, squid ink vinaigrette was our fave!
Two tarts had the sweetest little treats
The one, the only STUMPTOWN coffee
I love you a latte :)
Wouldn't be Portland without rain but it didn't cramp our style or rain on our parade
We walked and walked and walked, over the Broadway bridge thru the woods, to grandmothers house and the Historic Mississipi District we go!
Oops...the tracks were crossed
FINALLY...after over 2 miles and lots of hours of walking...we arrived
First stop - The Meadow - to marvel in artisan salt, the world’s great chocolate bars, bitters and other gourmet items for the bar and kitchen!
salt, salt and more salt from all over the world
Bitters and such to build your very own mixologist bar
Beautiful bouquets
Food cart - closed for the season
Luckily Gravy was still open and BEYOND generous with their portions - WOW...we had a lot of wood to chop!

Dinner at the bar, my favorite, at Little Bird!
Cheese plate (Herbs de Humbolt - best ever goat cheese) followed by the most delectable bistro burger & fries
After dinner drinks? But of course! Off to the secret speakeasy next to Valentine's hidden behind the creperie
Cheers! Gingerbeer how i love you :)
Photobooth fun with Kathryn & Miguel
Last day began with VooDoo doughnuts and continued onto eggs benedict at Mother's
Terrariums are EVERYWHERE & Kathryn is feelin' it!
Walk along the river
The food cart capital of the country. A little taste of everything - YUM!!!
Mt Hood even came out for the first time at the airport to bid us adieu...Bye Portland. How we love thee!
