Aunt Candace came to visit us from San Diego and meet lil' Kellan.
Did she come empty handed? Of course not....she knows the way to a childs heart & what 6 month old doesn't love THE GOONIES!!!!! We're both hoping Kellan's first words are along the lines of, "Sloth love Chunk or Rocky Road!
By day, we were rockstars out and about frolicking around the neighborhood enjoying the gorgeous weather! Candace insisted on calling Kellan "Carlos" while out and about which kept the laughs rolling a mile a minute...for those of you who don't get it, think The Hangover, claiming the baby as her own and most importantly insisting we were a couple :) LOL!
And can you ask for a better friend? Earning her keep babysitting at an hourly rate of $0 while i took a shower, ran errands, saw a movie...ok fine you called my bluff on the movie part!!
She did feed K bottles....
& baby food...and yes i did stick her with peas for my own entertainment....gagging was soon to follow - oops!
And by night, well......that was another story....Candace stayed close by in an "Inn" so i did what any mom would do pack her overnight back with trusted clean sheets, a blanket, soap and a tub of bleach :) Rosalita reprezent-zent!
From unitarians to rolled jeans, to christenings, to repeated near child abductions with Luiza, to long walks, beach bummin' and lots of yummy food....we had the best time with you! You're a natural and your boyfriend, Bug, misses you already :) Thank you, love you!
