Makenna is a doll

Literally Makenna was playing Kellan's new dollie in her new stroller today - was hilarious to watch him push her around.

Stockings were hung

by the chimney with care..so fun that there are now 4...running out of real estate up there!! Hard to believe that it was last year on Christmas day when we opened the envelope that told us our new baby-to-be was a girl! WE LOVE YOU MAKENNA!!

Look at that AMAZING artisan stitching, talent and time that went into creating these works out art - THANK YOU BB!!! WE look forward to seeing, displaying and showing off your amazing work every year!

Christmas Cookies

Kellan getting REALLLL excited for the Christmas cookies
devil's food cake & classic sugar
which Kellan decorated this year - he loved it and made an enormous mess, as you would imagine
both on the floor and on his face - YUMMY!

The Festival Of Lights

We were lucky enough to celebrate hanukkah tonight with our good friends, the Portnoy's!!!
And after lots of songs, dances cnadle lightings and celebrations the kids were each given a gift. Kellan and Eli got trains. William got a Dyson vacuum cleaner

Makenna got her first baby dolly stroller - ADORABLEEEEEEE!!!!
She's going to love it very soon...as much as she did opening the gift!

Here is the ceremony which clearly Kellan LOVED!!!
Followed by the Horah
And good ol' Christian confusion as Kellan sang Happy Birthday to everyone in the room as a result of the candles burning - saw that one coming!

Makenna 's First Time On A Slide

Makenna was so brave on the slide today for the first time

In action...oops,,,, this video ended in a crash..but no tears for fearless Makenna! Badass!

Ferry Building Trip

We took a last minute shopping trip to the Ferry Building aka church bells today for holiday food shopping. Kellan wanted to drive there...one of his favorite things to do right now
Thankfully i took over and had him back in his seat when we hit the stop sign where he proclaimed "bright, need sunglasses" which i promptly passed back and was greeted by the following sight! I love toddlers and their yearnings for independance. Made my day with his glasses upside down!
Stop #1 - doughnuts!
YUM
Makenna concurs
Off to get the cheese and bread from Cowgirl and Acme

And time to drive home....

driving school
Kellan needs to climb in the car all by himself now or else he loses it - again, that toddler independent streak!

Smarty pants Kellan

Kellan, mr smartypants, has been saying and spelling his name for months upon months now but we have just recently started playing around with writing it. Check out his first stab with crayons on the glass shower door. We have a ways to go - HA!!!
