Hilarious moment - BB's GLOVES

I wish that we had gotten the precursor to this video on tape when Kellan opened the cupboard under the sink pulled out the gloves himself and screamed BB's gloves but you get the jist from this video when we prompted him. Hilarious for those of you who know my mother aka THE WHITE KNIGHT!!!

Cold Weather Adventures

I bundled up the kiddos to head to the parka tonight...Makenna looked out of "A Christmas Story" poor lil thing but I needed to make sure she stayed warm after being sicky for over a month

And on the way home we walked by a festival of lights which Kellan ofcourse LOVED!

He walked right up on their doorstep and peered in for about 10 minutes in awe of all the beautiful glistening lights

And once home it was time to pile on mommy and daddy's bed and read books while dinner was being made. I LOVE that these 2 get along as well as they do.

Makenna Rowan is 7 Months Old

It's true what they say...time flies with your second child. I still think of her as 7 weeks and somehow she's already 7 months! WOW do we love her! Such a patient, happy, content, sweet little soul.

Sunday Night Dinner With The Portnoy's

The Portnoy's came over tonight for a casual holiday family dinner.

Ben and Erica made and brought this gorgeous salad studded with the beauty of pomegranate, pear, mango and toasted hazelnut

And we made, in honor of SF dungeness season, the crab, chile, lemon, mint pasta from this months BA - YUMMY!

Here's the crew....amazing how fast they're all growing up!

California Academy Of Sciences

Kellan had so much fun coloring in the kiddo craft center

Was amused by the visual 10 days of Christmas display...was pretty cool....and a partridge in a pear tree!

Let it snow, Let it snow.....not outside but inside the cafeteria ... my kind of snow...isn't even cold! Kellan's eyes were all aglow until he decided this white stuff wasn't for him - what a Cali boy - ha!

Makenna wasn't so sure of her first experience with the white stuff either.

We even got to go visit Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer

Kellan and Makenna's favorite fishies at the aquarium were the jellyfish and clown fish i.e. Nemos!

It was so cute and amazing to watch both Kellan and Makenna take all the abundant life of the sea.

Amazingly Kellan wasn't afraid of and loved watching the albino croc too!

so we were leaving our fave neightborhood french boulangerie when the owner insists she help Makenna since her 2 teeth had come in and this was it - a french chic baguette - i would be all smiles too M!!!! Like mother like daughter!
