Don't Mess With Makenna

Don't mess with my sweet baby girl...when she wants to be aggressive and get something done, she does it! wonder where she gets that from?! She is also very gifted with entertaining herself as she sat idle with the balloon for about an hour happy as a clam! Thank God for content happy babies!

Sunday was the best beach day of the year so we packed our picnic and headed to Baker Beach with the Portnoy's! What a spectacular day!!!

Sick Lock-in's

Poor lil Kellan was running a 103-104 fever for the past few days so he's been very tired and homebound. In order to make the best of it, we got creative:

drew grafitti on the shower door. Note to the artiste - don't tag your work with your name or you'll get busted and fined on the outside!

We pretended we were rockstars and jammed with Coldplay on The Today Show!

And finally at the end of a long week Kellan gets a treat! His new obsession M&M's!

Makenna's First Tooth

Makenna cut her first tooth (bottom right) to celebrate her 5 month bday! It's little neighbor is not far behind so we'll have 2 before the week is over!

ohh and another update on her development she has also started rolling from front-to-back and back-to-front! might have an early mover on our hands as this one doesn't mind tummy time, as Kellan did. We'll see!

Makenna Rowan is 5 Months Old

Makenna Rowan turns 5 months old and we can hardly believe it! It honestly seems like she was born 5 days ago in most respects! We love you so little pea!

City Kids Hit The Country

After we worked up an appetite apple picking we ended up at Corks for lunch, a russian river winery.

Makenna was awake for this part of the adventure so she got the photo love.
