Mealtime Milestone

Lane came over yesterday to play with Kellan and she kept asking, "Does Kellan know how to use a fork?" I said no, but realized i've really never given him the opportunity so this morning for breakfast I gave him a baby fork to eat BB's delic pancakes with and he DID IT! So Laney, I stand corrected, Kellan DOES know how to use a fork. What a big boy milestone. I will post a video as soon as i can grab the magic on film!

Stacey & Erik so generously opened up their gorgeous home for a little PDT family gathering. I think all in all there was an impressive tally of 12 kiddos at 4 and under!

They were all surprisingly well behaved and had a blast playing together.

As luck would have it, for us Cali folks that is, the skies opened up and painted a winter wonderland.

Kellan was enthralled by the flakes and continually asked to go back outside to take it all in and catch snowflakes on his tongue with daddy! Guess you can take the boy out of the midwest but not the midwest out of the boy :)

The whole family went out to dinner to celebrate Pap Pap's retirement. What a special evening. We're all so proud of him!
